The first day of November……
Don’t forget to….
Enjoy the color.
Enjoy the change.
Enjoy the earth beneath your feet.
Enjoy the woodland residents.
Enjoy the treasures of the season.
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry’s cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I’ll put a trinket on.
– Emily Dickinson

Thank you, Ann. ?
I haven’t ever read that poem by Emily D. You would LOVE visiting her home. Fascinating place that once belonged to a fascinating, mysterious woman.
Wow! I should put that on my travel list. Thanks!
