Building Your Resilient Self: An Afternoon of Wellness & Words

Come join an intimate group for an afternoon at Grow Well as we explore writing techniques and how they can be a tool for resiliency. Whether we are the oak or the willow, life hands us many challenges. Writing is a strong tool for guiding us to bend when we need to, and to help us bounce back to physical and emotional wellness.
No writing experience is required.
One attendee wrote: “Just such a memory had haunted me the week before attending your workshop, so I wrote about it. I also wrote about the advice that I would give someone undergoing a similar experience. That night I slept better than I had for some time. Leaders: Judy Brown, a certified holistic health coach, will explain how our emotional, spiritual, and relational lives can impact our resiliency and our health.
Barbara Younger, an author and writing teacher, will lead us in writing from the heart to reach the strength within us.
The afternoon will include a guided meditation, relaxation exercises, and we will provide light snacks and a beverage.

Let’s Get Healthy Together – A Workshop
I am excited to share with you that I will be offering a summertime, evening wellness program in June at RambleRill Farm.
Challenges and changes often have more successful outcomes with support from others. If you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed on your path to wellness, or just want to get inspired, I invite you to join me for 5 sessions this summer to get healthy together.
The setting couldn’t be more lovely…the barn at RambleRill Farm in Hillsborough!
The sessions will include:
?discussions on healthy eating and living, and finding balance.
?setting goals to make small and sustainable changes.
?ways to incorporate healthier food choices in our busy schedules.
?strategies for overcoming sugar cravings and other challenges.
?lots of recipe sharing and cooking techniques that incorporate seasonal and local foods.
?foods for more energy and holistic approaches to stress reduction.
?ways to boost our immune systems.
?lots of handy handouts!
?lots of sharing, inspiration, and support.
?healthy beverage provided.
