I thought I had lost all of my creativity after I had children. I guess my brain was otherwise occupied, lovingly so. Maybe creative parenting counts?
But I missed that part of my brain.
Suddenly, however, midlife and empty nest and patience and clearer thinking brought it back!
I rediscovered my love of photography and nature.
I use my photography to make unique greeting cards and photos on canvas.
Midlife sure is an adventure. All phases of life are, I guess. And this new hobby sure fills me up.
Good health, afterall, includes how you de-stress, how you create balance, how you fill your free hours, and how you relate to your world.
A midlife crisis? I’ll take it!
I now sell my art work at the Hillsborough Farmers Market and K’s Closet, also in Hillsborough.
Starting in June, I will have my work at a brand new gallery in downtown Burlington. The owners, Emily and Casey Lewis, are phenomonal artists.
Check out there website, Beechwood Metalworks.
Please clear your schedule and come to the grand opening on June 2nd from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sidenote……I am in love with the name of their new gallery, the Owl & Rabbit.
