I really love the month of June. Here are a few of my reasons:
Blueberry and peach cobbler
Longer days
Reading a good book
Dazzling fireflies in the night sky
Eating dinner on the patio
The scent of roses and honeysuckle
Blue bird eggs in a nest
Baby bunnies in our raspberry patch
Our Hillsborough farmer’s market
Putting away sweaters and coats
Outdoor concerts
Sailing
Watering my garden
And, I even love watching thunderstorms!
What would you add to the list? I would love to hear!
Marching forward to July! Wishing all of my readers a fun and family filled 4th of July holiday! Let us celebrate all that is good about our country and may we continue to strive for a more perfect union!
“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Flip flops and hummingbirds!
Yes!! Love flip flops and hummingbirds!
I like the thought of June weddings, although anytime of the year is good for a wedding! I like warmer weather but not the brutal heat of July and August. My daughter Kath loves June because of the summer solstice (longest day of the year) and the good foods that emerge at their local farmer’s market.
And you had two June weddings in your family…a special month for you! I agree totally with Katherine! Love all the berries, veggies, and goodies… and the solstice.
