Still feeling blue?

Winter is finally letting go of its grip! March has brought cold temperatures and snowflakes to many of us.

April come soon!

Here in North Carolina, the blossoms are blossoming, snow and all. I dare say, snowflakes on flowers are beautiful…….

I don’t know about you but I am about ready to bust out of my cozy winter cave!

The winter droopiness is just easing….

Did you know magnesium provides excellent support for moods and lingering winter blues?

This mineral helps regulate serotonin which is the major happiness hormone. In so doing, it helps to balance your moods.

Deficiency of magnesium can cause irritability, tiredness, stress, and confusion.

The best news? There are many great food sources of magnesium.

They include: almonds, cashews, peanuts, spinach, edamame, chocolate (good quality dark), to name only a few.

Spinach is in season in our area. It is an early spring crop. Hmmmm….mother nature sure is thoughtful.

And who can’t handle a little bit of chocolate?

Wishing you sunshine, many spring blossoms, spinach and ……chocolate!

Surely the last snowflake has fallen?
